Wondering what to serve as refreshment the night of your Party?
I have some GREAT suggestions for you!!
Marci's Apple Betty
Preheat oven to 350 and butter HGP Chip and Dip Platter. Peel and thinly slice enough tart apples to nearly fill the platter. Drizzle with 3 Tbsp. undiluted thawed orange juice concentrate.
In bowl mix together: 1 ½ cups sugar
1 ¼ cups flour
¾ tsp. Cinnamon
dash Nutmeg
¼ tsp. Salt
Cut in ¾ cup margarine till pea sized. Sprinkle over the apples. Bake 1 hour.
Popcorn Cake
1 stick of butter
16 oz bag mini marshmallows
¼ cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 qts. Popped popcorn
¾ cup home roasted peanuts
1¼ cup M& M’s
In large pan, melt together butter, marshmallows, peanut butter and vanilla. Stir constantly until melted. Pour over popcorn and peanuts and stir. Add in M&M’s. Place warm mixture into well buttered fluted bowl. Let cool a few minutes and then invert onto cake plate with stand. Enjoy!
